Pre '68 Dave 'Bolter P Joined: Jan 2001 Posts: 5,337 Snohomish,WA,USA	FYI, the single hole 216 water pump was used from 1937-1940. 1949 W1's used on cars have a fast idle arm on them. Before that there was a throttle cable for fast idle. If you have a choice I would get a year correct carb. See the USA in your vintage Chevrolet! My Blog
