Hey all, Just picked up a new driveline for my 51 1.5 ton. found a screaming deal on a 427 mated to a Eaton 5speed o/d. it has a casting number of 230790 on the side. Just wondered if anyone knows what model number tranny this is. Was told it is a .70 O/d or .75 o/d. It sure did drop the rpm of that big block going into 5th. Also has a weird shift pattern. reverse is all the way to the left and up, straight down is 1st, Up and middle is 2nd, straight down from second is 3rd, to the right and down from third is 4th and straight up from 4th is 5th. 1st is also a granny gear. Any info would be appreciated!
