Lucas - I think I can help out. The column bearing has the horn wire attached to it, that goes down the stearing column and out to the horn. There should be 7 parts you need for the horn button. 2 springs, 1 rubber O ring, the three prong part, 1 stamped metal disk, 1 snap wire ring, and the horn button.
The heavier spring goes on the steering shaft first, then the three prong part. The rubber O ring goes on the three prong part around the prongs and will seperate it from the bottom of the steering wheel. Then the steering wheel, and the lighter weight spring. The stamped metal piece is next, it should have notches in it to match the three prongs, then the wire snap ring goes around the three prongs to hold on this metal part. And last the horn button screws into the stamped piece.
This sounds pretty complicated but it really isn't. I've got some pictures that will help that I will email you. I can't post them here, but I'll try to get them to you tomorrow.
Good Luck
George
