Me Again! While reading the electrical bay section, I read a posting on guage insulators. What are they? I've just rewired the truck using the ChevyDuty harness. I thought it was idiot proof but you know how that goes! Any way, I'm still having a hot shot under the dash and I have refaced the gauge cluster and speedometer before I rewired. There was some cardboard on the terminals but was badly desintigrated. I used electrical tape on the holes but that didn't work too well. Could the short be coming from the terminal posts at the point of contact with the gauge housing? Let me know about these about these cardboard insulators.
