Get some Alabama rural saw mill guy to cut some Alabama oak to size and thickness. Hard to hold 14' flat without a lot of bolts. You can use shorter. Just widen one of the cross members to be able to handle two sets of bolts of the butted boards. However if you do that you should stagger the butts (pardon the expression), so that means widening more crossmembers. You can also plane some of what you have on that truck maybe.
