Originally these trucks came with only a left side tail light. I believe it was a dealer option to add a right side light and directionals..

Be sure you know whether you are using a 4 or 7 wire directional switch, it will make a difference as to how many wires you run to the rear tail lights..Also it will affect the number and types of bulbs you use for tail lights..When you are making the harness you will need to wire the brake lights differently depending on whether you use the 4 or 7 wire switch..

The ignition switch fits in a housing behind the dash. In the housing there is a hole for a push in lamp ( same as the gauge lamps ) that fits in that switch housing to illuminate the key switch are when the headlamp switch is in the park or head light position. This is not the same as the high low beam indicator..That is behind the speedometer..
