Russ, I don't have a definite answer, but my instincts are no.
Seems that the current draw on the fog lamps is too great for the regular reducers to handle.
I'm certain that they make a 5" amber fog in 12V. How's come you don't want to just use that instead of the 6V lamps? :confused:
