go to amazon.com and look for a copy of an HP Books by Doug Roe titled "Rochester Carburators"( the first printing is the best for Model B one bbls-its cover has you looking down thru a Q-Jet and has sort of a green background. It has the truth about the model B- Doug Roe was a engineer for Rochester. also on the Inliners International website under tech tips (or something like that) they have some good info on modifying them for dual carb usage. All Rochesters are good carbs, dont be bluffed by what you hear. My family had a '54 chevy w/ a 235 std shift and for at least 85,000 miles we never touched the carb. As far as I can remember it was original when we sold it in 1962.
