as far as the temp gauges are concerned, I did pick up a working unit. But all the vendors carry the same gauges, which is counter parts brand. So far I have had two temp gauges, one didn't work period, the second had a bourdon tube so big it hit the reflector inside the gauge panel, and made the needle stick straight up. The oil pressure gauge had a leak at the bourdon tube. So 3 of the 4 were useless, and I am not sure of the second oil pressure gauge yet. All that being said, Jim Carter will rebuild at least the temp gauge for $115, which given the trouble I have had with the reproduction units at $80, is quite a bargain in my opinion.
