Me and my dad purchased a 1951 Suburban with the clamshell doors a few months back. Got it tore apart and sandblasted. Decided to do something a little different. We are putting it on a 2001 Z71 chassis and running gear. Will have to modify its length but are going to try and start knocking that out this weekend. Radiator clearance was an issue for us with the 5.3 being so much larger than the orginal motor so we got the 1.5 ton front clip to increase space for the radiator and avoid having to cut into the fenders for the tire to line up. I will post a pic once we can lower it down
