I am not sure where to start...the ammeter stays right on the center line with the engine running regardless of speed. When I put a load on the system (turning on fan blower), the gauge drops.
Does the generator "lose" it's polarity? I just got the truck runnning, and I do not know the condition of the generator. When should I hook up the meter to test the output?
Any idea where I can get brushes, maybe I will just rebuild it.
Any other ideas?
