| | | | Joined: Feb 2008 Posts: 202 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Feb 2008 Posts: 202 | HI, Shawn, the synchro rings for 2nd and third wear out over time causing the transmission to jump out of third, and if it has been jumping out of gear it will need a shift fork to. It is a good idea to replace all the bearings when you have the transmission apart.
