Take your grease gun & pump the pilot bearing full of grease. Then get a piece of dowel, round stock, bolt , etc. just slightly smaller diameter than the i.d. of the pilot bearing & push it into bearing then cover with a rag. Now take a hammer & give the round stock a good solid whack & it's out.
