Never been into Army Trucks myself. Army Trucks don't hold any special value, except to the small minority that collect them. The good thing about yours is it looks like a civilian Production truck, & not your typical Army truck. I would keep it stock, & not worry about the Military part of it's History. I'd make a nice original civilian truck out of it. Being a "400" series(400, 450, or 470)truck is signifcant in it's self. Most of these trucks are 300 series 1 1/2 ton, or 350 series 2 ton trucks. The "400" series Family consist of the 400 series 2 1/2 tons, the 450 series 3 tons, & the 470 series 3 1/2 tons. I own a 1952 GMC 470 seies COE.
