Finally got around to fixing this. I hope.
First a little better picture of what I was working with.
Broken threads Now for the fix. I started with one of these
Edelmann Part # 744460 Thats a 1/8 NPT to 1/4 hose fitting. This is what I did to it to make it fit.
Modified fitting Drill press and a file will remove material. Not the best way to do it but it's what I have access to at the moment.
Here's how it fits
Fitting in carb To hold it in place first I used some High Strength Sleeve Retainer Napa # 765-1149 that I had left over. After it dried it held the fitting in place. To make sure I don't have a vacuum leak I used some JB Weld. Here's the finished results.
