The steering column, is grounded through the rag joint, to the steering gear box, to the frame. There is a ground strap, in the factory rag joint, that jumps through the rubber, from the steering column flange, to the flange that connects to the gear box splined shaft.
Additionally, there are ground straps, in the following areas:
Firewall-to-valve cover - left side
Firewall-to-valve cover - right side
Inner fender-to-frame - right side
Firewall brace-to-frame- right side
