| | | | Joined: May 2005 Posts: 25 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: May 2005 Posts: 25 | Replaced exhaust manifold gasket last week-cannot get manifold gasket to seal-Several exhaust leaks.
Used Felpro gasket.
Plan:
Remove manifold;
Have manifold mating surfaces machined;
Clean head;
Replace gasket and manifold.
QUESTIONS:
Type of gasket recommended?;
Gasket sealant recommended?;
Torque specs for manifold bolts?
