Maybe I should have said "where available" for 32-62. "There are several versions of the YF. Its just a universal replacement carb as said. Available in both mounting stud sizes. The 1932-53 216 had the smaller mount and the 1950-62 the larger" (32-62)
They are much more simple than the Carter W1 version used from 1932-49. I did a lot of research on the web from several carb "experts" including great info from CarbKing's website.
Anyway looks like the W1 stopped in 49 which would mean that the YF started in 1950 as CarbKing said. If the 37 means 1937 then I guess your carbs are W1. If your Carter Manual says 37 to 62, then there is a good possibility that info is correct, after all it's from Carter! SO... in that case they are YF's. (if the 37 means 1937) There is always conflicting info from experts because these parts go way back and the info is lost except from memory, urban legends, bar room talk, old books and some actual experience. Glad to hear they run, you have actually reached the bottom line. Lay some rubber.
