Thanks MSN, that's the plan. Right now I have to swap some of the running gear from my original motor like the starter/flywheel/transmission and I also want to put my oil filter on it, this new motor doesn't have one, its funny that it was even an option. I haven't looked at them side by side yet but I can't imagine why my parts wouldn't just bolt right up. My original motor was "newly rebuilt" and then sat for 30 years, you guys think the starter and generator should be rebuilt or just try it and see what happens? I'm mechanically inclined this is just a bit of unfamiliar territory and I am trying to keep from burning a lot of time going backwards.
