For helping keep this great

on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Oct 2004 Posts: 1,780 Master Gabster | | Master Gabster Joined: Oct 2004 Posts: 1,780 | This question has been asked a lot over the years and we have tried to answer it but without pictures it's been hard to prove. Well I found some pictures that might be helpful and if someone could save these for future use would be great. 1947/55 PANEL SIDE VIEW Notice that it just doesn't quite fit the contour at the rear top portion of the fender. 1947/55 PANEL REAR VIEW In this photo you can see that this fender was designed to fit against a flat bedside and not to the curvature of the panel body, 1947/55 DRIVERS FRONT/REAR VIEW You can see how far out from the body it sticks out. Not bad for a custom with big wheels and tires. | | |
