Yes, there were longbed 1/2 tons in '60, but not as a 4x4. The 4x4 longbed 1/2 ton came out in '61 in both Chevrolet and GMC. I've checked 3 different sources (one GMC specific), all match on this. All of them also show no short 3/4 ton, which matches your info as well.
