I made a slit in the rubber groove. The bars are about 4 inches long and if really rusted in I don't know how else you can do it. I tried heat and it would not budge. I am going to either put stainless or brass bars back in. Also the screws to the top hinges I had to grind the heads off. New frames are available for 400.00. Ouch! | | |
