i changed my 46 1/2ton to a t-5 and kept the original flywheel, and the original bellhousing, I purchased a new pressure plate for a 46 chevy truck with a 3 speed, from chevsofthe40s.com ...then I went to transadapters.com and they set me up with the right trans adapter and the right cluch disc for the t-5 with the right splines to fit the t-5, (and they were pretty reasonable too) and everything slid right together, you're gonna have to drill out the 4 mounting holes on the t-5 because they are metric, I just completed this in the past 2 weeks and my truck is up and running with the t-5 and an s-10 rear, and I even still have the foot starter
