Just performed this chore. Ypu've got to hold your mouth just right (kinda like fishing). Put the switch assembly in a vise. turn the key, insert a paper clip in the hold and you'll feel the spring retainer depress, use a very small screwdriver to pry the switch from the housing. Goes together easier.
