Hi all,
I just bought a new master cylinder/brake booster kit for my 1954 3/4 ton Chevy truck. I am keeping the truck drum brakes all the way around to try to keep as original as possible. I upgraded because the original master cylinder is just too scary for me with all the money I have in this truck. Anyway the kit came with two 10 lb proportioning valves for the rear brakes. My question is how important our these valves? I know they are to reduce the pressure and I'm going to put them on, but I was just curious. Thanks
