Good Day everyone,
Quick questions

What direction do I manually rotate the fly wheel in order to turn the engine?
Looking from the fly wheel to the front of the engine, do I turn left or right?

This will help me set the distributor and gap the lifter.

Also,
I purchased two eye bolts that are galvanized to lift the engine by the head bolts. They bolt in but not smooth. I do not force them in but once they get snug, I'll back them out, blow out the hole then re-insert the bolt. Now I have a solid eye bolt to lift the engine.
By putting the galvanized bolt in the head and engine block, will this in any way damage the block or head?
