Well, I registered awhile ago, but just re-found this site. I've been rebuilding a 1939 Chevy Pickup for just about a year now off and on. As you can see from the before picture, the truck wasn't much besides some rusted out metal and a clean 1939 title. It had a 47(ish) bed, which I've since removed.
Most of the rust repair has been completed including door skins, lower cab corners, lower front cowl panels, rear wall replaced, cab belt-line, replaced floor, etc.
I've put in a Mustang II front suspension with RideTech StrongArms and Shockwaves, although I will be replacing them with regular airbags due to not getting enough lift.
In the rear I have a triangulated 4-link with RideTech Sleeve Airbags, and a S10 Posi Rear Axle.
I'm currently in the process of building my first motor (SBC 350) for the truck.
I'm looking for 1939 rear fenders, so if you know of any laying around.... please let me know.
