I'm new to this scene and I need all the help I can get. Can someone tell me what the difference between 6 volt vs. 12 volt is? I currently have a 1950 Chevy Pickup and its a 6 volt. Do I need to change it to 12 volt? What are the advantages and disadvantages of having 12 volt and what is it really used for?
