checked the new alt that I bouught last week, it is not chargeing right, trying to install the new one tonight, got dark and had to stop. having trouble getting the fan belt to line up straight,,these after market things can be a pain in the a,,. had no problem before and it is suspose to be the same alt,,,will try again tomorrow,,thanks for all that have responded,,,Fred
