i hope no one throws anything at me but i am so used to getting answers from here that i thought i would seek help with my latest dilemma.

i am hauling out an old furnace and i have got to where i need to get rid of the electrical junction boxes and wiring involved. i bought this place a couple years ago and i am turning it into a coffeeshop. i had a new 200 amp service put in and there was no breaker indicated for the furnace.

i have a multitester and i was wondering how to use it to check to see if the furnace shut-off box has power going to it.

i'd rather not fry myself, the multitester or the building.
