here goes,Im running a v-8 with alt.1wire.right now I have the alt wire connected to the pos post on the battery.It charges but I always have to turn off the kill switch or the battery goes dead.I have stock 6v gauges.I want to hookup the amp gauge.do I need a 12v to 6v reducer for the stock amp meter?How is this done.doI half to tie into the starter solinod some how.also have a wire harrnes from chevy duty.lost the paper work.have a newer tilt column from I did it.wiring in not my best subject,plus loosing a eye don't help matters.thanks for any info also I used inline fuses on everything instead of a main power fuse box. :confused:
