well that's interesting because last time I checked the engine compression it was in the 120+ range. Huh. What do you think could have been done to that ol' head? Always been curious about it.
When I originally got it, I had a friend with a book of casting numbers who said it was a Corvette head. Another guy said he thought it was a 235 head set up to use with a 261 engine for racing. I think I read somewhere that the 848 head was the replacement head for a Corvette.
Anyway. It's hot.
