I have wondered about that too. I went to the trouble of finding a truck in Arizona and had it shipped to TN just so I wouldn't have to battle rust. I hate rust ( I am originally from Michigan )
I took the doors off when I got the truck and turned them upside down and blew high pressure air at the seams from the inside. There was a lot of dirt in there. I was thinking about pouring some POR 15 inside the door and letting it soak into the seams. Then hitting it with an epoxy primer. I am interested to hear what others have done to protect their door bottoms (and front cowls and cab corners)
