I have a 327 in a 59 Apache with a newly rebuilt 327 and a brand new Holley 600 cfm on a contender intake. When the truck is idling the exhaust has a gas smell to it and burns the eyes. I figure it is running rich maybe. But the fella I bought the truck from said he put a "little bigger" cam in it. Before I go messing with the carb adjustments i figured i would ask here on the forum what you folks may suggest that could be causing the issue.
