I suspect this has been covered here before, but I am fairly new here. I have a 34 Chevy half ton pickup, with the normal 6 volt system. I am considering getting an 8 volt battery. From what I have gathered, an 8 volt battery does not harm the electricals and supposedly helps with starting. Would appreciate knowing if this is accurate, and if so, any suggestions on what to get and where? Also, any drawbacks?
