Monica, I had the same problem on a grill for a 1950 Chevy pkup. The driver side part of the grill bars looked pretty decent, but the passenger side ends of the bars were terrible. One would be way too far back and hit the fender before the bolt holes got any where close while the rest of the bars stuck out anywhere from 1/2 to 1 inch away from the fender.
Had trouble getting the passenger side park lamp in place.
Above the passenger side park lamp where the grill meets the fender, there was one spot that I had to die grind about 1/2 inch of material away to make the grill meet the fender properly.
All in all a very disappointing grill for the amount of money spent to get it.
