For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Sep 2008 Posts: 130 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Sep 2008 Posts: 130 | I have a 292 1989 crate motor that was for a large box truck. I put my 72 292 dipstick in and it reads at the very tip, under add a quart. I do have 6 quarts in it now. That is what the Chilton book said for it. Also my intake man. slants to the front like the engine should slant back more. Could I have a 7 quart motor? I'm not sure, but the box truck might have been a Vulcon, it looked like a 1T with dual wheels. Anyone Help? | | |
