I'm almost ready to drive home again. As it turned out the gasoline in the tank was dirty and plugged the filter and fuel pump. It's cleaned, new filter, and the windows have been re-felted and adjusted so they go up and down. I have insurance and registration now, so I don't have to look over more shoulder as I drive. I'm waiting on one tiny part which connects the windshield wiper on/off knob to the wiper motor connecting rod. It's been hard to find for such a little part. There's still a bunch to do, but nothing that should affect the way it runs or drives.
