It is completely different from the inline, and worse, the timing is wrong. The earlier V6 has an uneven firing order, the newer ones are even firing, but they are made to work with a controlled timing device, regulated by the engine computer, not a stand alone unit.
Should better search harder for the one that fits without anything else, in this case, the one out of a 250.
