#88115 01/02/2004 5:38 AM | Joined: Jul 2001 Posts: 3,887 Cruising in the Passing Lane | | Cruising in the Passing Lane Joined: Jul 2001 Posts: 3,887 | if yer not inta super original, an alternator on 6v is the cats meow - had a local auto elec guy change an internally regulated one to 6v when the gen died on my ol 46, and never had a bit of elec problem after that - it was strong enuff it would almost charge while cranking!! made the 6v starter crank like it was get 12v!!
