| | | | Joined: Sep 2003 Posts: 2,384 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Sep 2003 Posts: 2,384 | I just use normal seam sealer on lapped seams. Most of these trucks have many lapped seams. Nothing wrong IMO with gluing non-structural metal. On newer cars I have often seen the metal tear before the glue fails-it simply won't come apart. Grind both sides clean w/50 grit for good "tooth" for the glue. | | |
