Well I finally got around to wiring up the turn signals on my 46. I used a 3-wire flasher as per the signal switch's instructions. As I do not have the actual lights on the truck yet I simply grounded my test lamp and stuck it to the various wires to make sure I didn't screw up. The test lamp lights up when I want it to but nothing flashes. It's just a steady light.
So, do I have a faulty flasher or do the turn signal lamps have to be in place for my blinkers to blink?
