They are not all the same, 47-55 GMC & Chevrolet truck.
I have a 54/55 GMC glovebox lock with no screw. My 54 Chevy truck locks have screws.
I'll post a picture tonight. I cannot figure how to get the lock off. Post a picture if you can.
