I used brake lines and a combination of flare and compression fittings, to match the other fittings involved. The one thing I didn't plan for is being able to put a container underneath when draining. The flexible lines would make this a breeze but with my setup I have to squeeze a plastic container in underneath. Better planning would have helped.
