I am happy to have the confusion cleared. My next problem is how to convince California DMV that it is not a commercial truck and the 1-ton P-30 chassis it is sitting on is "Really" what should count in figuring the capacity and therefore the registration and tax.
Are there any California truckers that have experience licensing vintage HD trucks? I will be using this for more than just parades. I will be using it as a (sorry to say) car hauler for a vintage sports race car.
