Just thought I'd pass this on.

Two weeks ago I was driving my '41 with the windshield cranked open and had something come in under the windshield and get into my eye. I was doing 50 MPH on a paved country road with nobody in front of me. It must have been a bug or bird (droppings) because two days later it was infected. I spent 5 days in the hospital after minor surgery to remove an abscess from the eye. I was wearing glasses (can't drive without them), but should have used larger sunglasses.

That open windshield is fun, but you gotta be careful
