| | | | Joined: Oct 2007 Posts: 231 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Oct 2007 Posts: 231 | 1964 Chevrolet 3/4ton 4spd. I went to drive my truck after about two weeks and it wouldn't shift into gear. It made a grinding noise like the clutch wasn't disengaged enough.So i slammed it in reverse and the truck leaped back indicating that the clutch wasn't disengaged. After doing this the truck got stuck in reverse,so i readjusted the clutch linkages and i was able to shift it into neutral without the truck running. But when i went to shift it with the truck running it made the grinding noise again.
any ideas what could be wrong. | | |
