I built a nice looking box (with rounded edges and all grin ) to put under my dash. I put it just about in the center, and had to drill a couple of holes to mount it to the bottom of the dash. Also, one hole in the firewall so I could run a strap from the back of the box to the firewall.

Now I have a nice $30 tape player, in a box with a few hours invested in it. (time is cheap, money is not)
