on my 55 ist with stock 6 volt 235 engine - when cold, the engine starts right up. i drive for about eight miles and it will die - no backfiring, just quits. if i try to start right away, it won't fire. if i leave it for a few minutes, it will start up again. don't think it is a gas problem. if not gas problem, would it be a bad coil?
