hi I am new to the forum, posted my intro in the welcome section. I have a few questions maybe someone can help with. I am going to pick up a 52 1 ton pickup very soon, it has the stock 216 and grunt 4 speed and rear end.
1. how fast and what kind of milage will it get left stock?
2. I have a 4.11 1 ton rear from a late model chevy van. Was told it is p track, if I install it with the stock motor and tranny what kind of speeds and milage?
3. If the two above questions are not a good possibility for normal driving, is it possible to install a turbo to the 216 and increase the H.P. and what would that do for speed with the stock tranny, engine and the 4.11 rear end??
I would like to make this truck a daily driver. I drive mostly through the county and state roads where the speed limit is 55 or 60 mph. I would like to have the ability to do a little more if necessary with out blowing the engine thru the hood.
